SELF-CONTROL AND FEATURES OF THE VALUE-MOTIVATIONAL SPHERE OF STUDENTS OF EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF RUSSIA
УДК 159.9
Abstract
Self-control features may cause the emergence and development of professional deformation and psychological health disorders in the employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The scientific literature highlights the importance of the value-motivational sphere in the formation of self-control. Therefore, the aim of the work is to study the features of the relationship between self-control and the value-motivational sphere using the example of students of the Barnaul Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The following methods were used: a questionnaire of the level of subjective control by E.F. Bazhina et al. and the methodology of "Value orientations" by M. Rokich . The study of the features of self-control and the value-motivational sphere of students of the BYU MIA of Russia of the final year and the faculty of professional training showed that in both groups the leading ranks in the hierarchy of both types of values are occupied by those that should be inherent in an employee. The formation of these values correlates with the general level of self-control and such a scale of subjective control as " internality in the field of achievements".
