FEATURES OF SEXUAL MALADAPTATION WITH VARIOUS CHARACTER ACCENTUATIONS
УДК 159.9
Abstract
The sexual sphere has a special, high importance for the self-realization of a person, his adaptation in society and socialization, building close relationships. In this regard, personal constructs are of great interest, which, with a special manifestation, can act as a determinant of the occurrence of sexual disaptation, namely, accentuations of a person's character can be attributed to such personal constructs. The purpose of this study was to study the features of sexual maladaptation with various character accentuations. To study the accentuations of character, the authors used the "Methodology for studying the accentuations of K. Leonhard's personality" (modification by S. Shmishek). And to study the features of sexual adaptation – the "Questionnaire of attitudes to sex" by G. Aizenka. The study revealed statistically significant differences in the sexual attitudes of respondents with demonstrative, emotive, pedantic and dysthymic character accentuations. Qualitative characteristics of the differences are given.
