METAKOGNITIVE CONTROL AND ATTITUDE TO ANTI-VITAL BEHAVIOR IN SOCIAL ANXIETY IN THE CONTEXT OF THE PROFILE OF LATERAL ORGANIZATION
Abstract
The article analyzes the features of metacognitive information processing in case of social anxiety in the context of a different profile of the lateral organization of the brain. The psychological mechanisms for maintaining social anxiety are discussed in conjunction with the metacognitive style of regulating anxiety and the risk of anti-vital (self-harm, suicidal) behavior.
