EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE OF BUY CADETS MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF RUSSIA IN THE CONTEXT OF BEHAVIOR STRATEGIES IN CONFLICT SITUATIONS

Abstract
Emotional intelligence is necessary in professions that involve interaction with people. Therefore, it is important to be able to understand emotions, manage them, control their manifestations, especially in difficult and critical situations. The purpose of the study: to study the characteristics of emotional intelligence of cadets of the Barnaul Law Institute in the context of their behavior strategies in conflict situations. Research methods: D. V. Lyusin's emotional intelligence test; N. Hall's emotional intelligence test; P. Ekman's projective test for recognizing facial expressions; N. P. Fetiskin's express diagnostics of conflict resistance; K. Thomas's behavior description test. Most of the cadets have a high and very high level of emotional intelligence, an average level of ability to experience and feel the emotions of other people and resistance to conflicts, as well as a low level of ability to determine facial expressions, gestures for interpreting an emotional state. In the group of cadets, the following behavior strategies prevail: compromise, avoidance and cooperation, the severity of which is interconnected with the characteristics of emotional intelligence.
