Abstract
The purpose of the article is a theoretical justification for the relevance of studying the problem of precrastination and a person's ideas about the time of his life as interconnected phenomena. Precrastination, as a scientific category, is quite new for psychology and requires a versatile understanding. Precrastination is most intensively studied by foreign psychological science. In Russian psychology, the results of scientific research of this phenomenon are presented in single publications. In the past decade, during the experimental study of biomechanical factors affecting the choice of tasks, a trend in human behavior was found, expressed in the desire to complete the task as quickly as possible (precrastination). Precrastination is not only an immediate response, but also involves more complex cognitive processes. Studies have also established that the cause of precrastination is a person's desire to reduce cognitive and emotional stress. Moreover, this desire turns out to be so motivating that a person does not reckon with objective reality and his own physical and mental resources. The views of researchers considering precrastination in the context of a person's attitude to the time of life are presented. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign experience within the framework of the problematic issues under consideration, an interpretation of precrastination is proposed as a way for a person to self-organize his activity/activity over time. The specificity of self-organization in the case of precrastination is to focus activity on the present in order to solve urgent problems as quickly as possible and free up resources (temporary, psychological, mental, emotional, physical, etc.) to implement long-term plans or goals of the future.
