Abstract
In the article, the authors summarize the views of domestic authors in the field of meaningfulness in the lives of men raising children with developmental disorders. A study was conducted to examine the characteristics of the life-meaning orientations of mature fathers raising a preschooler with a diagnosis of early childhood autism in families. An empirical study identified significant differences in the life-meaning orientations and characteristics of coping behavior of fathers and preschool children diagnosed with early childhood autism. The authors proposed a psychological workshop aimed at developing skills in the field of interpersonal interaction between fathers and preschoolers diagnosed with early childhood autism, including theoretical, educational and practical modules, designed according to the methodology of transactional analysis by Eric Berne.
