Abstract

This article offers an overview of international research focused on a pressing psychological and pedagogical issue: teacher professional burnout in the 21st century. The COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the education sector, altering teachers' activities and changing their interactions with students and parents. These shifts have, in some instances, contributed to the emergence of professional burnout symptoms.

The authors examine key strategies used in foreign studies to investigate teacher burnout and, based on their analysis of the findings, provide general recommendations for its prevention.
